Early this year I noticed I was not booked for just 1 month, August. So I blocked the entire thing out of my schedule. I thought after a really busy year it would be nice take a few weeks off to spend time with my kids and get things done. However, once it was time to have time off I got really anxious. I was so ready to get back! I was happy to get an email from Lonnie and Kait which was the perfect opportunity to get myself back to work since it had to be scheduled quickly.. she is due in just a few weeks!

Also, the drive to this session was the first time I had been away from my kids in 2 weeks and it was really nice to have time to drive in a quite car and listen to my book. In fact it was so nice that I thought I was relaxing too hard and not driving fast enough, but I was it was just THAT NICE! lol

This wasn't the first time I met Lonnie. I actually was in the Marching band with him in high school! Also, I do photos for his Sister Taylor and her husband Josh all the time so I knew I was going to have a great session with these two.

Kait and Josh were ADORABLE. Their outfits were PERFECT and the coordination? I and both their families took votes on that day because they had so many good ideas they couldn't decide.

I got to hear about their preparation and anticipation of their new little. I am ALWAYS impressed with those who choose to keep their babies gender a surprise for birth. I really consider them superior types of people. They also chose not to share their name ideas, so I am even more anxious to see them later this year to see if my guess of a little boy is correct!

Kait and Lonnie thank you for trusting me with this beautiful time in your lives. You both were a pleasure to work with and I can't wait to see more of this amazing outfit coordinating next time!
