Deep & Sylvia's Proposal Story

In 2024 Deep and Silvia both had surprise proposals planned that put my acting skills to the test! I had never met either of these people before, however I got to know them pretty well in a short amount of time and it was a honor to capture both parts of this awesome story.

Deep reached out to me first with plans to proposal to Silvia during their house warming party. We planned that I would be a guest of Deep's from her job incase it was mentioned. I did indeed have to attend their house warming party as a covert coworker. Where I did have my camera hidden for show time. I was absolutely a nervous wreck because I should have asked one of my "coworkers" if I could sit with them but I couldn't tell who I was supposed to be working with so I ultimately ended up hanging out with Silvia's family (who were so sweet) but I don't think they knew what to do with me and I didn't want to bring up the proposal so they were in on it. All I knew about the character I was playing was that I worked at Johnson and Johnson lol. However they didn't have to chat with me for long before Sylvia gathered all the guests to thank them for coming before getting down on a knee to ask Sylvia to Marry her. Although I am there to take photos I couldn't help but also listen to the beautiful speech that Deep gave expressing her gratitude for acceptance and support that was so emotional before Sylvia said yes! They had a beautiful little celebration after some photos with all their guests.

Then the story doesn't end because a few weeks later Silvia asked me to capture her own proposal! This one would be much trickier because Deep knew me so I couldn't pretend I was someone else. So instead we had the wonderful opportunity of meeting at Dalton's Farms in Sweedesboro where I was already taking photos so it was going to be a beautiful execution. Silvia brought the flower loving Deep to the farm to pick out some flowers and I "HAPPENED" to see them and offer to take some more photos of them since we were all there. That's when Silvia got to then ask Deep to marry her! That's also when we got to tell her that this was NOT coincidence but it was most definitely Silvia's orchestrating to reserve the sunflower farm after they closed so she could propose and get some beautiful engagement photos in the sunflowers!

I couldn't have imagined a more perfect proposal story! I love that both partners got to make it special in their own ways. A perfect proposal for both!
