Connor's First Birthday Session

This is my little buddy Connor and he turned one so fast! His momma is one of my very best friends and this little guy although he is only one I feel like he has been around forever. That is because we talked about the "one day" baby and the "hopefully" baby and him being here is still surreal. There is no feeling quite like watching your best friend's dreams come true. I couldn't be happier for her because not only is this little boy perfect and everything we ever hoped for, but now he is going to be a big brother, too! Another thing we have talked about for so, so long.

See maybe there are some benefits to waiting too long to post a blog! I can share news as well! lol

Connor wasn't a huge fan of his portraits.. it was kinda weird because we totally did these photos in the woods by our house, because if I didn't mention this part, its that not only is Amanda one of my best friends.. she is also my neighbor! Seriously how lucky am I? It's just too convenient!

But anyways.. back to Connor. He didn't like the portraits, but when we got that cake in front of him it was like MAGIC. We had so much fun watching him eat and then absolutely destroy his cake. It was adorable!

I can't wait to do it all again soon with his little sister!
